Canadians, once they retire, head to warmer climes. Vancouver, and The Pacific Sands in particular, appeal to seniors for the weather, the recreational lifestyle, and our proximity to St. Paul’s Hospital.
We have many senior citizens living in our building from all over North America. One of the main advantages of our location is that you can walk or use public transportation to get around. The pressures of having to own a car do not exist. Since there is so much within a close proximity, Pacific Sands feels like a resort to many of our tenants – but with all the advantages of a big city.
Located in Vancouver’s most popular and exclusive residential area, along Beach Avenue, Pacific Sands offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Granville Island and North Shore mountains.
Opposite our building is the Historical Sylvia Hotel. The Public Library with its vast collection of books is also within walking distance. We are also well situated for those adventurous enough to pursue kayaking, sailing, rowing or boating.
We have a steady stream of tenants leaving the building at all hours of the day to go jogging or walking along the Vancouver Seawall and Stanley Park.
